Your mission
TeamUp is a psychosocial support intervention developed by War Child Holland, Save the Children Netherlands and UNICEF the Netherlands to meet the urgent psychosocial needs of children affected by conflict and war. Children are exposed to stress and traumatic experiences during their journeys to safety and often their social and emotional needs are not met – both during their journey and at their (temporary) destination. TeamUp is an inclusive psychosocial support group intervention with structured movement- based group activities based on play, movement, and body awareness for all children aged six to 18 years. TeamUp decreases stress and increases wellbeing.
The TeamUp Global team has developed a scaling strategy aimed at expanding its impact and reaching millions of children through strategic collaborations with global partners. The current focus lies on co-creating scalable systems and fostering strong, sustainable partnerships. Besides the uptake of the TeamUp intervention, partners may gradually complement their portfolio with other MHPSS methodologies and tools.
The Project Support Officer is responsible for organisational, operational and administrative support to the work of the TeamUp Global Team members. Upon request, the officer will provide support to these colleagues with tasks related to programme development and coordination, partnerships, monitoring and evaluation, communications and network related tasks.
Team
The Project Support Officer is part of the TeamUp Global team within the Programme Quality, Scaling & Advocacy (PQSA) department and reports to the TeamUp Global Programme Director. This position requires physical representation in the Netherlands.
