War Child reaches many thousands of children and youth every year - yet there are 468 million children living with the effects of armed conflict. At the heart of our scaling strategy is War Child’s Care System approach.  The Care System includes   a range of evidence-based methodologies designed to improve the mental health and well-being of children and their caregivers.  These components can be selected based on partner needs, tailored for programme requirements and contextualized and integrated with existing services to build on local strengths.
