Your mission
Providing ICT support
  • Assists in planning and implementing changes to elements of the ICT service on the CWTL tablets;
  • · Sets up equipment such as laptops, data projectors, interactive whiteboards, sound systems and other specialist ICT equipment, ensuring that systems are ready for use and operating correctly for CWTL events and trainings;
  • · Installs new software, updates and hardware;
  • · Supervises ICT related issues in the office and provides Technical ICT Support;
  • · Works to give guidance to others on the ICT policy that outlines acceptable use of ICT equipment;
  • · Performs basic diagnostic routines for Server & Network in the office and in the field;
  • · Checks internet connectivity is maintained in the different locations where CWTL is being implemented;
  • · Detects, diagnoses and resolves most PC, printer and peripheral device faults;
  • · Introduces and trains staff on SharePoint;
  • · Coordinates with the HR department to provide laptops, IDs and emails for CWTL staff;
  • · Plans and conducts ICT training for CWTL implementing partners and WCH/CWTL staff
Your profile
Necessary experience:
Relevant academic background (IT, Computer Science, etc)
 
Education level: Bachelor degree
 Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
Education field: IT, ICT.
Require skills:
Knowledge of program development, logistics and administration;
Planning, analytical and organizational capabilities; 
Strong planning and organizing skills to handle many tasks with deadlines;
 Fluent English and Arabic;
Advanced computer skills;
Team player;
Result focused and cost-conscious;
Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with team members;
  

 
 
 
 
What we offer
  • Location : This role is to be based in one of the following War Child country office: Lebanon. 
  • Applicants must be able to travel between Beirut and Tripoli Offices. 
  • War Child does not offer relocation.
  • Salary and benefits are in line with your residing country and contracting office, we offer local packages, local T&C's will apply.
