Call for Tender: Translation Services Framework Agreement for War Child Alliance

Your mission
BACKGROUND 

WCA is seeking competitive proposals for a Framework Agreement from qualified service providers for the delivery of translation services. These services will cover a wide range of documents, including policy and project documents, and communications materials. Translations will be required in the following languages: Dutch, English, Spanish, Modern Standard Arabic, French, Dari, and Swahili. We anticipate a high demand for translations specifically for our Evidence Based Methodologies (EBMs) this coming year. Our EBMs include methodologies such as TeamUp, ReachNow, and Can't Wait to Learn, as well as several initiatives on their path to becoming official EBMs.

REQUIREMENTS 
The translation services should offer: 
  • Quality and Accuracy: High standards of translation quality and accuracy for policy, project documents, and communication materials.
  • Language Support: Ability to translate between Dutch, English, Spanish, Modern Standard Arabic, French, Dari, and Swahili.
  • Turnaround Time: Efficient and reliable turnaround times to meet the project deadlines.
  • Confidentiality: Assurance of confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive documents.
What we offer
FINANCIAL TERMS 
Vendors must provide a detailed pricing model including: 
  • Costs per word/page for each language combination.
  • Additional costs for expedited services.
  • Information on discounts for long-term commitments and larger volumes.
 
SUBMISSION OF TENDERS 
 
Tenders must be submitted in accordance with the stipulated format and deadlines as outlined in this  Tender Notice. 

Tenders are open for submission by both individuals and companies.

EVALUATION CRITERIA 
  • Quality and Accuracy: How well the proposed services meet our quality and accuracy standards.(40%)
  • Cost: Evaluation based on the cost-effectiveness of the proposed solution.(30%)
  • Vendor Experience and Reliability: Past performance and reliability in providing similar services.(30%)
