Your mission
War Child is looking for a:
Project Support Intern
‘Organised, proactive and eager to learn’.
4-5 days per week for a period of 5 months or longer, starting in February 2026
You are interested in how international NGOs operate and want to understand what it takes to run global programmes in practice. You enjoy organising information, supporting colleagues and keeping processes running smoothly. You are detail-oriented, curious and ready to learn about programme logistics, procurement, document management and internal coordination.
This internship supports project management and roll-out of several Evidence Based Methodologies (EBMs) in psychosocial support, child protection and education, while also contributing to wider programme and operations tasks across the organisation.
Your Challenge
Most of your time will be spent supporting internal and project coordination, like the organisation of trainings, travel arrangements and progress tracking for our partnerships and technical teams. You will also assist with administrative and procurement tasks, maintain document libraries and help improve the usability of key resources used across the Alliance.
This is a practical, hands-on internship designed for someone who learns by doing and enjoys being part of a dynamic, collaborative working environment.

- Assist in organising trainings, workshops, meetings, and learning activities. Support set-up and coordination of the trainers pool.
- Provide note-taking during internal meetings and support follow-up actions.
- Provide flexible support during peak periods.

- Support invoice flows by ensuring documentation is complete and stored correctly.

- Keep overviews up to date, such as training calendars, travel schedules and carbon tracking.
Document and Resource Management
- Help maintain up-to-date resource libraries by uploading new versions and organising folders.
- Support version control to ensure teams can easily find the correct and most recent documents.
- Coordinate translation requests and ensure translated materials are formatted consistently.
