Intern Legal

Your ChallengeYou are interested in working in an international non-governmental organization and are eager to learn. You are great at legal research and writing in English and are enthusiastic and result driven.
As an intern, you will primarily provide support on contracts, branch office registrations, powers of attorney, and regulatory compliance. Are areas of legal research and support may include anti money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT), governance, procurement, and intellectual property. you will work under the guidance and supervision of War Child’s Legal & Governance Advisor,

What you will do:- Supporting contract reviews
- Administration: Maintaining corporate information and contract library, coordinating legalisation of documents
- Researching and providing support on AML/CFT requirements
- Reviewing and researching policy documents
- Ad hoc support on a range of legal issues such as data protection, intellectual property, and governance
- Supporting projects within the legal team
What we offer
We are looking for a Legal Intern who will join us starting beginning of April 2026. As an intern in War Child you can count on an interesting internship, with an opportunity to learn across a broad range of legal challenges. Of course you will get guidance, but also freedom to work out your ideas. As per War Child Intern Policy, your fee will be €300 gross per month (based on 5 days). Travel costs will be reimbursed.
Please note that War Child interns need to be registered students at a Dutch educational institution. This is a hard requirement. Students must be enrolled for the duration of their internship. Please note that this internship does not suit students who are in their thesis writing semesters.
