The Programme Partnerships Officer will assist in leading and overseeing the implementation of War Child’s partners activities in Gaza, in line with War Child's transition toward partnership-based, non-direct implementation. The main contribution is to assure quality partnership management, including partner capacity strengthening, activity follow-up, documentation, reporting, MEAL processes, and networking. While administratively reporting to the Senior Projects Coordinator, this position will receive technical direction and task prioritization for ECHO-funded activities from the ECHO Consortium Manager to ensure donor compliance and quality partnership management under that project.

Knowledge and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in management, business administration, education and development or other related fields. Master's degree would be an advantage.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in coordinating and implementing child rights projects including education projects
- Experience in emergency response project, particularly in contexts involving child protection and education in emergency settings.
- At least 3-years of experience working with/for INGOs.
- At least 2-years' experience in the sector of Education and or CSO/CBO
- Experience in implementing MEAL plans, data collection and analysis.
- Experience in maintaining online database and reporting.
- Practical experience with focus on application of CSO/CBO engagement tools, policy and MEAL capacity building processes. Experience in coordinating EU funded projects is preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Good understanding of Education, Child Protection, and CSO/CBO engagement in Gaza and preferably in the West Bank
- Good understanding of partnership-building and engagement strategies in Gaza and preferably the West Bank
- Excellent report-writing skills in English.
- Good knowledge of project cycle management.
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
- Team player, contributing effectively to the War Child team.
- Ability to work independently with partners and spend time in the field.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Full adherence to War Child’s values and safeguarding policies.
- Fluency in Arabic.
